Pioneer of EFCC, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu Returns Back to APC

The founder and former chairman of Economical Financial Crimes Commission and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidates in Adamawa in 2015 general election Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has announced his return back to the ruling party All Progressive Congress (APC).

The former EFCC chairman Nuhu Ribadu who is known for his famous quotes ” When you fight corruption, corruption will fight you back ” made this known in a post on his official Facebook Page.

Ribadu was part of the founding member of the APC politicians that left the party in cold war in 2014 after the then governor of Adamawa state, Murtala Nyako was impeached by the State House of Assembly.

He joined the then ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and contested for the 2015 governorship election in Adamawa which he lost.

There were reports earlier this week that the state chapter of the APC has been calling on the former police officer to return to the party.

Twitter Drama between Uduak & Hobbit : Here’s what you missed Between a Stolen Mifi, Cocaine and NDLEA

Twitter is one of the most popular social media platforms because it is a place where people come to discuss just about anything that is on their mind. Nigerian twitter, however, is another story- we are always looking for any opportunity to do ‘amebo’ or to laugh at the things that normally should make us upset.

So if you are not quite sure of what I’m talking about, here’s a recap of the drama. While the drama was going on, trust Nigerians to say all sorts of funny things concerning the situation. Among some of the rib-cracking tweets are the following:

Destination of the week: Badagary

Badagry (customarily known as Gbagle), a coastal town situated between the city of Lagos and the border with Benin at Seme in Lagos State, Nigeria, is without doubt one the most serene and historically rich towns in the region; every year thousands of tourists come from around the country and world to admire the relics and mementoes of  slave trade in Nigeria .

Bordered on the south by the Gulf of Guinea and surrounded by creeks, islands and a lake; it is the second largest commercial town in Lagos State.

A town of secrets, Badagry is majorly recognized for its slave trade by foreigners. A trip to the town can be eternally confusing for first-time visitors due to the incalculable immensity of its historical treasures, as well as for the charm of its unique traditions, and the beauty of its panoramic views.

Among the most significant resources: plenty of museums -(Badagry Heritage Museum, Seriki Faremi’s Brazilian Baracoon, Vlekete Slave Market, Mobee Royal Family Slave Museum etc.), historical buildings and landmarks along slave routes as well as the slave ports.

If you can plan to stay as long as a week, you won’t run out of things to do and you’ll still feel like you’re leaving too soon.

More often than not, by doing this, we are building the foundations for diseases that will plague us in the future, when we are finally ready to relax and enjoy life with your family at a slower pace.

For us to have a long and healthy life, it is important for us to make our bodies as healthy as possible from now by choosing a better lifestyle and developing healthy habits that will be easy for us to maintain when we are older. Some of the most important steps to take for longevity and good health include the following:
